Nioh (Japanese: 仁王 Hepburn: Niō, "big-hearted ruler") is an activity pretending computer game created by Team Ninja for the PlayStation 4. It was discharged worldwide in February 2017, and was distributed by Koei Tecmo in Japan and Sony Interactive Entertainment universally. Gameplay rotates around exploring levels and crushing beasts that have invaded a range. Nioh happens in the mid 1600s amid a fictionalized form of the Sengoku period, when Japan was amidst common war before the rising of the Tokugawa shogunate. A mariner named William, in quest for a foe, touches base in Japan and is enrolled by Hattori Hanzo, worker to Tokugawa Ieyasu, in overcoming yōkai that are prospering in the disorder of war.
